This store doesn't even deserve 1 star. So disappointed with this store. I wanted to get the car seat but they didnt have any in stock. I was so angry because nobody had told me they were closing down they only told me they were moving locations not shutting down the whole company. Write a review on ProductReview. I phoned on Friday only to find that the store was no longer My Baby Warehouse and was now Baby Bounce which ring alarm bells straight away since I was not overly impressed with the vague service I received when placing my order.
The new manager phoned me today and said they are unable to renew the contract with the brand that I ordered so I was unable to get my item not the new owners fault although would my item not have already been ordered under the old contract back in December under My Baby Warehouse???? I purchased two crop maternity bras. There was no one available to assist me with sizing, with the closest thing to assist being a chart on the wall indicating sizes associated with shirt size, so I bought what I thought was the correct size for me.
While paying, at no time did anyone ask whether I needed help with sizes, nor was I informed that the item could not be returned. When I got home, I quickly tried one of the bras on, only to find it way too small.
I had left all tags on and kept the original packaging which was essentially a ziplock bag and so attempted to return the items, only to be told that, "for hygiene reasons" these items could not be returned, despite having all tags still on both items and the original packaging available and in good condition i.
After numerous discussions with the manager, I was informed that I could receive store credit for the one I hadn't tried on!!!! Given the state of the tags and packaging, there was really no way of telling which one I had tried, so unsure what the issue was re "hygiene reasons". Bought a changing nappie and missing part, manager was rude in Minchinbury. I asked to get another one and the lady wanted to put it together in front of me and I was 8 months pregnant, the lady didn't believe me and the whole time she was trying to prove me wrong.
I had a double pram on lay buy that I now didn't need as I decided to get a different pram, that was more lightweight after injuring my back badly: Every time I tried calling him he would not answer or he would then turn his mobile phone off, I finally got through to him after a few weeks and he was that abusive towards me, and hung up on me, when I called and spoke to a lovely lady from management she said that there have been so many reports lately of this man doing this and for me to contact fair trading.
I finally in the end got my money back, but I was just so disgusted that a business like this could you treat you in this manner, I do not reccomend anyone ever purchasing from this company. Never been treated so badly in my life! I have been waiting for 3months now to get a bassinet and it's still not here in store it's the worst experience i have ever been in they say it will be in 2 weeks still not here they say i will get the manager to call you never does very very poorly customer service such a ashame will be shopping else where now lost me as a loyal customer not very happy at all 1 star rating from me.
My Baby Warehouse is in administration and recent media article advice is that current paid orders will not be shipped. My advice would be not to order anything from My Baby Warehouse online. I placed an order a month ago for a booster seat, got the run around on delivery and status, never received my goods, and am now am left out of pocket.
Given media advice that orders will not be shipped or honoured, I would question why the website is still operational.
Disgusted in the lies and lack of customer service. I went into my baby warehouse wentowrthville at the beginning of September I was 4 months pregnant and wanted to get all my baby things ready early. I put in an order for a high hair pram and car seat capsule with adapters.
I never got a call after 6 weeks I was constantly calling them to update me with my order. I came from interstate thinking that the customer service in a Sydney store would be better but it was absolutely disgusting! Who in their right mind doesn't call a customer to update them with their order coming from interstate.
I was calling and constantly speaking to rude sales assistance that had no idea what was going on with my order. The high chair I ordered was meant to be in before 6 weeks.
I then received a call from the manager saying we have your order and ware waiting on the high chair. Every week I would call and get different updates. The managers telling me the high chair is in transit, next minute the high chair is posted next minute the high chair hadn't even been sent yet.
Then after that the high chair is lost. Then them locating the high chair and telling me that they can't get it in anymore. I was going to go up this week being December 3 months from when I ordered to just pick up my pram and car seat and got a call to say the company has gone into liquidation!
I hope they get what's coming to them because when you are expecting a baby and walk into stores that don't really care they just want your money and know they can get your money because it's a demand on baby products!
The fact that all this time I was lied to and not told to pick up my order earlier now finding out I've lost all my money. I have no other words to say I'm so disappointed and stressed out being due in 2 months and not having things ready for my baby is just wrong!
I don't recommend this to anyone ordering my baby warehouse products what can I say now it's too late because they have closed and no one will get their order! All I can say to the mums is fight together to get our money back they will get what they deserve! Incompetent staff; no inventory knowledge or counter manners. The staff who assisted us at the Leichardt store What items we were happy to find on the shelf were soiled or damaged and had to be taken straight out the back.
Flat, insincere apologies grunted only when our body language became exasperated. A very aggravating 48min store visit. For a store that is difficult to get to on Parramatta Road, this absolutely is not a good choice for baby shopping. Still waiting on my refund for faulty chicco pram for 5 months now. They sent it off to the manufacturer chicco confirmed it was faulty and they refunded the money back to my baby warehouse but not to us until now!! I call the store manager all the time until now, and been in the store a few times, The store manager tells me I cant get through to anyone in head office via email or phone.
