Don't think the race of the child matters when picking out a name you love. I have 3 mixed girls and I named them normal names. I didn't want their name to identify them by race; that really bothers me and people really judge those with weird or unique names. Honestly, names are a big deal and it's important to think of all the implications that come with a name. I'm a teacher and I see this all the time. Let the child have a truly unique name that's not based on race unless you're looking for something symbolic to her heritage.
